The Arrow was dogin it in some of the corners, Its hot and I guess he is not in shape!!
I feel like this track won't be on the circuit for too much longer. It has a very "Kenworthy's" vibe (i.e. an outdoor supercross) and everyone complained about that. If I recall correctly, Freestone is doing great things as far as the fans/seating are concerned, but I'm not sure if that is enough. What was the reason Pala was dropped?
I think the arrow would make top 10
(motoxer4522) I'm believe Pala got dropped becuase of the traffic and logistics of getting in and out of that place. I heard it was a nighmare!
Kenworthy's got dropped because it was built in a flood plain along a river, and they had to cancel two races because of flooding. However, it was also pretty flat, like Freestone, so maybe that had something to do with it. It's sad to see that place all grown-over now!
I'm slightly disturbed by the new arrow.
Great graphics - nice work! And, lets hope the riders are hydrated and ready for the heat (remember last year?).
Weather Bug says 94 degrees on Saturday... Ouch !!!
94 is cool for TX!!
.JS will fade in the heat because he does not train!!!
@BillC, depends on what the humidity is. I was at Millvile last year. The temp was 100 degrees, and the heat index was 120 degrees. Hottest weather that I can remember..
BillC, can't wait to see you proved wrong on this one!! JS will fade in the heat because he does not train!!!"
@mxrider874,, I think BillC was kidding...
A big supercross.
Man that Red Arrow is smoother than David Bailey.Red Arrow rides a wide bike. It's wider than Mike Alessi's bike.I would like to see Barcia race Red Arrow.I think he would show Barcia the real meaning of BamBam.
This track map makes it look pretty flat and smooth but I went to Freestone national a couple of years ago and it was way different. There is actually some elevation change, the area is rolling hills. The dirt is great sandy loam and the riders always say they love it. It get big berms pushed up in the corners for railing. Track is good but the trees make for limited visibility kinda like Washougal. It's hard coming out of shade into the light and vice versa. Easy to get around with all the tunnels and traffic is no problem. I don't see them taking this track off the circuit for a long time.
LOL yes I was kidding, Just saying what guys that don't like JS said last week...... hey where did all those guys go??
no joke here; but barcia and roczen are my 2 favorite riders in 250's. well because of some of roczens comments on heat and stuff, i hope he doesnt pull an ET and cook himself at this race and be drained for the rest of the series. good luck and safety to all.
Humidity only gonna be about 60%. I watched Stewart kill um there in both moto's in 08, with temps in the mid 90's and higher humidity. He even crashed the first moto, gave the lead to Alessi for a few laps. Watched Dungey killing Reed, Villopoto and the rest of them last year in the second moto with a 22 second lead and run out of gas on the last lap. Not a Supercross track at all. Super rough, lots of flat turns with gnarly ruts. Big breaking bumps coming in and acceleration bumps exiting turns. I'm gonna say Stewart wins the first main (moto) and Dungey wins the second main (moto). Overall's mean nothing in motocross. Its really 24 main events!
Im up here in Toronto Canada and have never been to an American National, Canadian yes but iam planning to go to Unidilla for my son's birthday. We are extremely excited, I have the hotel booked. A 7hr drive. Does anyone know when i should buy the tickets. In advanced or at the race? And any extra info i should know.
I thought i would ask the experts!
You can but your tickets there but get there EARLY cuz the line of cars on the road trying to get in gets VERY long. The Dilla is a Great track. I will be there too.
Sounds good thx Bill
@Teeps99: You may want to check this site out. I would think a lot of your questions could get answered in advance. May save some frustration down the road.
Ya never know...
