Lookin good! Smooth and fast...
What day was the JS7 video shot? Wasn't it also on 5/3? Would have been neat to see them on the track at the same time...
Pourcel looks fast, but his speed has never been the question how is his endurance???? It will be interesting to see how he does on the big bike especially the second moto. I'm pulling for you to do well Pourcel.
Why this guy is not on a factory team is beyond me.......
Maybe Pourcel is starting a new fad, maybe having a factory ride will become a thing of the past.
Welcome Back!
Suzuki has no money... He doesn't want to ride KTM... and Yamaha has no factory team
So there are only 2 available teams and Kawi basically didn't want him.
But if you guys look closely, check out the triple clamps and the gas tank that he has but his teammates don't.... The team he chose runs a lot of the same brand of products that factory Yamaha has ties with so I think his bike will be pretty close to factory.
GO CP and good luck this summer!
A bummer is that this guy, would in my opinion, deserve ANY factory ride spot instead of guys like Weimer, Kyle Regal..., JG33, Metcalfe... But unfortunatly they got the factory rides and not Pourcel which is very questionable...
How pumped must MotoConcepts be??
His suspension looked way better than JS7 in his video....
Was that Mitch Payton in the wheelchair (blurry, but visible), right around the 1:15 mark, to the left of Pourcel? It would be really cool if he was out there watching & supporting CP377, especially after the possible snub about not running a machine using PC parts.
That was not Mitch, it was Ross Maeda the owner of KYB suspension.
too bad that bike looks hella gay... is that seriously the best design that team could come up with? i know that has nothing to do with the actual performance of the bike, but cmon we're in 2011. Every other teams graphics, bars, rims, etc looks so bad ass except for this one..
Whoo-hoo! Now just get that Cairoli fella over here and we can have ourselves a race.
lookin good- but he best be startin to excercizing, hes in the big boy class now.
Ross is not the owner of KYB suspension, he is the owner of Enzo, who specializes in KYB suspension.
that would be badass.
Hey where is the Stewart video some guys were talking about above??
its on his fan website JS7
Transworldmotocross.com
I think CP is a legend considering he can still race at that level with his injuries. If JS and CR really do the outdoors, then we have a race going on here between at least 4 or 5 guys. Anyone know if JS and CR have committed to outdoors yet? All I hear so far is rumors.
Glen Helen will be rougher than that before practice starts lol .We'll see how well he's doing after trying to run down RV2 andRD1 at the end of moto 2....good luck ,.....really , good luck.Glad he's back.
@tonewall thats lucky, they dont have a race at Glen Helen
Top 10 guy with occasional top 5 finishes.... my prediction
@klrman
Reedy was supposed to announce his decision at the press conference...haven't heard
Apparently Stewie is getting no support from Yamaha for the outdoors so itll be on his dime...hope he does but its not looking good
I don't know im sure thats not race pace but i think he will probably be battling with short and alessi more than RV & JS, He fades bad in 2nd motos but im glad to see him commit to outdoors! JS & CR step up quit leavin everybody in the dark , ARE YOUR RACIN MX OR NOT???
Everyone cant hate on the angry frenchmen, but at the end of the day expect to see #377 on the top step of the podium! and for one of u guys to question is endurance???? the guy barley trains or works out due to his almost carrer ending wreck and he can still whip that 450 around the track better then people like dungey who train everyday!!! go 377!!
#377 will always be smooth, and has the best throttle control which is RV`s issue in my opinion, nobody can ride a 450 wide open like RV does without crashing ,which RV doesn`t. That track tho,has there ever been a natural braking, accelerating or any other bump on it ?
I wouldn't worry too much about his physical condition. He spend the whole winter fixing his shoulder and training physically, I read an interview where he's saying that he's never been that good before. Then back in Florida to train on his tracks with a PC 450. I sure a lot of people will be surprise by his performance. Can't wait for the nationals, Go Chris !
have a good year christophe,i wish the best for you and i believe that you can win all these guys for sure..if pourcel finds 450s key and ride (like unadilla 2010 second moto)for example no one can win him!

Got a feeling this guy is gonna' really 'rip-it' in the Outdoor Nationals.
Expectations are kinda' low (non-factory team);
less pressure for the team...
all the better for him.
Have a great season CP377!
We'll all be watchin' !
Thanks ???. Would be nice if they both raced outdoors. Shame on Yamaha BTW. Outdoors is what mx is all about.
I dont think questioning his endurance is relevant since his riding style is so smooth. With the 450, he can be faster and get less tired than with the lites. To win in lites you really had to push yourself like crazy when 450 could really be all about finess....remember JMB? Go look at Unadilla nat. videos on the 500CR! CP is exactly the same style and approach.
anyway, good for the sports that he finally got a ride. Should make the outdoors more interesting than it s been in quite a few years....
I think the bike looks bad ass, sorry "jorgi", I suspect you would prefer green or red,
sounds like sour grapes my man. CP377 went with the awesome blue machine, which
does have full GYTR support, because there is not an actual "Yamaha Factory Team", like the others run. But I'm sure he will have the help he needs from Yamaha.
Just like JS7 does.
Glad to have you back in the saddle CP 377 ! Really enjoy watching your riding style. Gonna pack up the family and make a trek to an outdoor national track I've never been to yet. Hope all the big dogs come off the porch to play with you. Good luck in 2011 outdoor's mud, sweat, and gears!
