Hers is my opinions.....
1. JS needs to start getting out of the hole in the main events...
2. DO NOT put doubles and triples after the first turn. They are lucky no one got killed in that section.. I think there was a pile up EVERY RACE... C'mon track biulders, use your head..
3. I thought RV looked a little inmature while chewing out a guy for no reason... It sounds like it wasnt his fault anyway.
I agree it does not look good Mofo but try to look at it thru RV's eyes, After what he has been thru and how hard he must have worked to get to where he is now. After what just happen I would give ANYONE a pass for being pissed. Also not sure it was not Bondis fault, looked like he staled his bike, RC said the bike might have broke but He rode it off so I think he hit the rear break and stalled it and took out RV.
1. JS must not have enough horsepower.
2. Yeah, agree
3. That hit to the head must've made RV think fighting Boni was a GOOD idea. My money would be on Boni
I agree, RV was pissed,, but he was yellimg at him AFTER the LCQ even. RV should just no his facts before hand.
I don't know if this championship could have been tightened up any better than what happened Saturday night. This could go down to the wire. I don't care who your "guy" is (of the top 5), they've got a shot. That is some close racing. Congrats to Trey, I had a feeling tonight was going to be your night no matter what. Great holeshots by the KTM's too.
Reed Has A big GRIN on his face
I think after watching these SX races, no one has a grin on their face.. SX racing has become " survival", not racing.. Anything can happen to anyone at anytime.. I bet you thought that RV had a big GRIN on his face last week, now look ?
There was no mention of why Villopoto didn't even try to get back in the race in his qualifier. Did he think he could go to the LCQ and breeze through that?
endoman,,, not sure, but I think his bike was bent up pretty bad.
Malcolm S 20th? Does he crash a lot like his brother? And just who IS Fabien Lizard? I wonder if Baggett thought that the title was already "in the bag?" And where IS Larry Brooks? Is he still "at home" with Sherrie, Barry, Gary and Harry? I love the guys on here that basically are telling the riders how they should act in any given situation, lmao. Wow, you guys sure know what youre talking about!!!
Wow. After all the BS of me saying it's highly unlikely RV would have a bad night. This is insane. Of course Stewart had a worse night so I guess it evens out haha. So now its 6 rounds and 26 points. So I'll say it again, JS7 could win every race now and still not win. However, now Mr. REED could win the greatest season EVER!
acejas,,, how do you figure " Stewart had a worse night ?" JS made the main, and RV didnt.. JS gained a point on him I think...
As from me HAT's off to everyone making the YAMAHA WAKE up Report!!!! Also I think you at Racer X need to go to the verification process. I myself feel it would be an imprvement on comments,I have been ashamed at some of the thinks said just because it is an open forum. MAY THE FESTIVITIES CONTINUE!!!!!May the bets and luckiest man win!!! That is because in all sports it takes luck mainly in motorsports though.
Good luck to all!!
True. But JS7 got injured, RV didn't. RV will still be 100% next week. Stewart could be 90-95%. He looked like he was in a serious amount of pain. I really hope he's ok though.
If JS is at 90 - 95%,, that will be fine,,,, IF he stays on two wheels and gets a good holeshot in the main. T
People talk about Stewie being a crybaby but RV took the cake at that race chewing out somebody over a racing incident, he didn't even consider getting back up and racing that heats race which he totally could of gotten a transfer spot. Lame.
It really seems like since Yamaha came out with the new 2010 Design that it has never really agreed with JS7... I don't know what it is, but, it's pretty easy to see his starts arent that great anymore and his bike looks eratic like a bucking bronco... or "Huckabucking" (whatever the hell that is). He can't stay off the ground, he's beating the hell out of himself. Is it just me or does it seem eminent that we'll see him with a different color fender as soon as he can ditch Yamaha and get "Team San Manuel / Bro Show" rolling?... i hope so... he's my guy and it's hard and even scary to watch him wrestle that peice of junk yamaha around the track... he needs to get him a Honda or Suzook... agree or disagree?
Hot Rod,,, I agree with you ....
Hot Rod.. There can be some truth in it.. The yamaha bike since 2010.. Is a somewhat new concept of a bike... But, Stewie has been known to set up his bike's suspension ultra stiff.. So he can also be blamed.
Yamaha is paying a shit load of $$... way more than what any other mufacturer is paying their star rider... So Stewie is another sucker just sticking with a manufacturer for the $$..
endoman.. The bike of RV2 was bent up after the crash in the heat race. As for the LCQ.... It was just unfortunate that he hit Brayton.. And while trying to ctach up... Boni screwed the plan of RV2.
Nevertheless... RV2 can still be laughing his head off.. Stewie only gained 1 pt.. And for the rest.. reedy is simply no match for RV2.
RV2 will win next weekend.
Didierlotsyeng,,, RV didnt seem to be "laughing his head off " in Jacksonville to me.. You must hav watched a different race ?? In fact, he looked like a moron doing what he did. Also, what you seem to be forgetting is that ALL the other tiop guys gained precious points on RV..
Didierlotsyeng,,, Lets also NOT forget what happned last year with RV.. He can grenade a championship just like everyone else..
JS has a few holeshots this year Hot rod... True the points are closer But I don't think anyone but JS or RV will win UNLESS thing go bad for RV It's still his. Yes Reed is closer now as is RD and TC but NONE of the three have shown they can Run with RV, Reed one time but that is it.
mxmofo.. He,he.. Figure of speech.. I am pretty sure.. RV2, was relieved to see that his biggest rival crashed himself out..
Last year was unfortunate... This year, RV2 has shown true speed, and he has been consistently the fastest... On a race distance.
He was just unfortunate.. And I prefer seeing a RV2, showing his true colours by being pissed on a Boni than what he did some races ago, thanking the big guy, his fiancee.. his dog.. blabla.. Bullcrap.!
RV will be back on top of the box.. And he will win this championship. Stewie is done this season...
Great race and win for Canard!!
The point system seems wrong. 3 people crash in the first 100 yards of the race and don't get up or finish the first lap. 1 gets 18th 3 points, 1 gets19th 2 points and 1 gets 20th 1 point. did they get a tape measure to figure out who went the longest distance from the start and give them 1st dnf, 2nd dnf and 3rd dnf?? In my opinion if you don't get through the first lap you get a DNF and 1 or no points. Next time someone might push their bike further while being hurt to get an extra point...
When two or more riders don't finish the first lap the AMA switches over to the Hill climb scoring system?
Didierlotsyeng ,,, I love it " JS crashed himself out," but what happen to RV is "unforunate ( 2X )." I think I detect a little bias there ???
these track builders are pitiful - what a stupid design. They are VERY fortunate no one was seriously injured. And to the others that post on these forums, please try and spell correctly. You end up making motocross fans look about as intelligent as a 1st grader. (or maybe you are a 1st grader, in which case, my apologies since you don't know any better just yet)
mxjoe99, I'm with you 100% on this one. There is favoritism towards the factory riders / "stars" of the sport when it comes to scoring (as well as practice, parking, etc, etc). It happened with Reed @ the Daytona jet-ski race and several other times that come to mind. Kawasaki (on their & Villipoto's potential SX titles' behalf)would be smart to protest this matter to force the issue. BUT it would serve them right to lose a SX title to Yamaha (by a point or two) dating all the way back to '84 when Ward rode backwards on the track & qualified while, earlier in the year Glover was DQ'ed for the same thing. The guy that made that ruling left the SX promoter of the time to take a job @ Kawasaki the very next year, Hmmmmmmmmm.
junior jackson, look at any "Yahoo news" comment section, and you see the same thing. The retards are running rampant throughout the interweb!!!
Junior,,, let me guess,, you are a former Spelling B winner ???
@ junior jackson
.
I wouldn't count anyone out of this championship. Jacksonville just goes to show you that anything can happen on any given night. I wouldn't count out Reed,(his confidence will be very high now and wouldn't want to race against him, just ask the Goat or JS7) Canard who has the speed but needs to keep rubber side down, and maybe Dungey(i didn't think he would even be in the points chase this year with all the players healthy). Six rounds left and can't wait for each and every race cuz it will go down to Vegas Baby!
Carlsbad you forgot the RC Fule gate, and RC cutting the track like others who got DQed but RC did not.
What happen with reed and the jet ski race that was favoritism?? He got what 7th? he should have he made it further than the guy in 8th right?? Reed did 19 1/2 laps the guy in 8th did 19 laps. Is that what you were talking about??
Given the talent of the riders in the top 5....RV & Reed are the only two that have a shot at loosing the title. I don't think RV or Reed will ride BAD enough to let stewie gain (what... near) 20 points. It's been fun though!!!!!
mxmofo.. He,he... you got me there.. Let's say, i gotten used to Stewie crashing his brains out... Looked like RV, was just unlucky...
BillC, I actually untyped "fuelgate" after typing it out because I didn't feel it was an "on track" example and people would get confused / sidetracked. The issue w/ Reeds '08 Daytona ride is a good example because; Reed fans will see that as perfectly acceptable (or worse) while, KW fans will see a completely different perspective. "INTERPRETATION" of the rules is where we all get lost. There shouldn't be an interpretation but, hard & fast, BLACK & WHITE rules that apply to Manuel Rivas (or whomever) exactly the same as the #1 plate holder (or whatever "star" you choose). Thinking more about it, Fuelgate IS a pretty good example of both problems. A:Teams making it up as they go and B: AMA / promoters incompetence and/or inability to effective administrate the series they are "in charge" of.
