Tag Metals' Wharton and Barcia WIN @ Oak Hill!Sunday, March 23, 2008 | 10:11 AM
Shawn Norfolk, Director of Marketing said, “Blake and Justin switched over to Tag Metals Sprockets this year and they are our ONE-TWO punch in amateur racing. Blake raised a few eyebrows as he won 3 of 4 classes at Oak Hill (125 pro, 250 pro, 250A mod), and finished 3rd in the 125A mod class. Barcia is back stronger than ever and he posted championships in 3 schoolboy classes and finished 2nd in both the 125 int mod, and 125 int stk classes. You have no idea how excited we are to have both of these riders in the Tag Metals stable. They both ride for the Torco Racing Fuels Honda team. This is the first year of a full-blown amateur effort for this team and we are simply ecstatic to be a part of their efforts.”
