2007 Racer X/Suzuki Hillclimb Series KickoffMonday, March 12, 2007 | 8:36 PM
America’s most-prestigous hillclimb series gets underway in Tracy, California on the weekend of March 31 and April 1. This will be the first time that fans can see Team U.S.A.’s Jason Smith, Robie Peterson, Bret Peterson, and Travis Whitlock since they won the World Trophy this past summer in DeCazaville, France. “This promises to be an incredible event,” said defending champ Harold Waddell. “There are more riders than ever before and this particular hill is great for spectators. There’s also a lot of new bikes that will debuted in Tracy, California, and there’s a lot of new up-and-coming riders that will really make this season interesting.” Qualifying begins on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. and Sunday’s National fires up at 9;00 a.m. The 2007 Racer X / Suzuki N.A.H.A. Pro Hillclimb Series is sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association.
