USAF Freestyle Motocross Team Showcased At This Year’s Toyota AMA Arenacross SeriesThursday, November 2, 2006 | 8:39 AM
AURORA, Ill., (Nov. 2, 2006) – The United States Air Force-backed Team Faith FMX team, consisting of Willy Watts, Terry Russell, Kevin Johnson and Greg Hartman, will be back in action again this year at select Toyota AMA Arenacross Series events across the nation.
Running Bobby J’s Yamahas, the USAF Team Faith FMX Team will perform during the intermission at select Toyota AMA Arenacross Series races. Fans always look forward to the amazing array of tricks these guys can pull off, including Superman seat grabs, double Can-Cans, No-handed landers and the mind-bending Kiss of Death.
“We’re pleased to have the United States Air Force-sponsored Team Faith FMX team back on board with the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series for the upcoming season,” said Robert Hansen, director of arenacross. “The freestyle show is always a crowd favorite and the Air Force has enjoyed the input it receives back the fans as the title sponsor of the FMX program.”
Toyota AMA Arenacross Series fans can witness the action first-hand when the series gets under way next Friday and Saturday, Nov. 3-4, at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines’ Iowa.
