Your Collection

This week's collection comes to us from Gala:

"Here is a picture of my 1980 SR125 Kawasaki works bike. When I purchased it, the bike was completely apart in crates. It was raced by Dave Thorpe in England in 1980 in their equivalent to our schoolboy class. The bike shares nothing with the production model and is completely handmade. Magnesium forks and engine. This was Kawasaki's first water-cooled works bike. It has a large single radiator with a thermostat under the tank. The tank is fiberglass, as are the paper thin radiator shrouds. Chain tension works on an eccentric cam system built in the swing arm at the axle."
