Mike Metzger recently informed TeamECC.com/Escondido Cycle Center principals he was offered a ride for Monster Energy Kawasaki and would like  his current sponsor contract with TeamECC.com and Escondido Cycle Center released so that he may pursue this new opportunity.
While this notice came as a great shock and disappointment to everyone here at Escondido Cycle Center, we wish Mike much success with his new sponsor and have terminated the long standing rider /sponsor relationship between Team ECC.com and Mike Metzger.
This announcement comes on the eve of Winter-X Ten and does leave a noticeable absence on TeamECC.com’s Freestyle Division Team, but we will not be deterred at Winter-X, and TeamECC.com will be more than well represented by Ronnie Faisst and last year’s Gold Medal winner Brian Deegan.
